Chick

Pekisko's Painted Smile

Chick was born on February 12, 2003. She is out of the only litter of Fly (FTCH AFTCH Pekisko's Round Trip), bred to FC AFC Fordland's Bored Out Ford, the top Amateur dog in the U.S. for 2002.

As you can see, she is very good looking. We are impressed with her sensibility and social nature. She is very intelligent, easy to train and likes the water. In limited trialing, she accumulated 13 Junior points. Chick finished her first-entered Qualifying while still at Junior dog.

She had a very successful Qualifying career - eight starts with 4 wins and 26 points and a 100% completion rate to finish #2 in Canada. In her first Open all-age entered at 30 months, she finished with a Reserve Certificate of Merit.

She continued her consistency with several All-Age placings (two of them being second place behind her mom!). In her first National Open, she completed seven series. By the end of her first year in All-Age competition, Chick had finished in the top ten Amateur dogs in Canada. Not bad for a youngster. Chick needed a win to complete both her titles.

In September, 2005, Chick was bred to NAFTCH FC AFC FTCH AFTCH He's Czar Nicholas.
In August, 2007, Chick was bred to FTCH AFTCH Firwoodhill's Dynamo.
In November, 2009 Chick was bred again to Dino. This was her last litter.

Chick is now living with a very good friend, enjoying her life on a ranch and retirement from trials and puppies.
